What is the cheapest non-dirty hotel within driving distance to Disneyland? January 18, 2010

Posted by Hotel in : Los Angeles , 5comments
I am planning a one day trip to Disneyland and I would like to find the cheapest hotel that is within a 30 minute or so drive to the park. If the hotel is gross and dirty I wouldnt be interested in it. I am looking to only spend $50 or less for the one night. I am coming from San Francisco so it would be preferred if the hotel were north of Disneyland. Thanks!

Experience the plight of astronomers at the 14000-foot summit of Mauna Kea! Veteran observers John A., Juan D., Kelly F., Ted K., and Tim Livengood took the HIPWAC spectrometer to the IRTF observatory on the Big Island of Hawaii and were inspired to write the lyrics to “Hotel Mauna Kea”. Here, Juan, Kelly and Ted perform the song and all co-investigators star in this above-the-clouds music video. “Hotel Mauna Kea” is a parody of The Eagles’ “Hotel California” by Felder, Henley, and Frey….

What hotel in the Dominican Republic is walking distance from a town and not too far from an airport? January 6, 2010

I am not too interested in staying in an all-inclusive hotel, I would rather be able to stay in an affordable, nice hotel but still be able to experience the culture and people. Any help is appreciated. Also, is there any advantage to using a travel agency? I would much rather do it myself but I am just worried about legit transportation to and from the hotel and to neighboring towns.

More travel info… www.petergreenberg.com More and more hotels now have spas, but beyond massages and a few scented oils, most hotels don’t put much more effort into them than they do their gyms. But some spas, using local materials from mud to plants, offer experiences that you’d be hard-pressed to find anywhere else. Included are South Africa’s Pezula Resort, Germany’s Intercontinental Hotel at Berchtesgaden, Jamaica’s Strawberry Hill, and Edinburgh Scotland’s OneSpa.
