How can I unstick spa bath jets that have been painted shut? October 30, 2009

I’ve moved into a house where the previous owners have (stupidly) painted the spa bath, and as a result the jets are painted shut. Does anyone know how to fix this, or what I shouldn’t be doing to fix it?
The taps and plug work fine, it’s just the jets that are shut.

heat up something pointy and apply preasure to the holes
Carefully try “goof off” to remove the paint but be concerned about it’s effect on the tub.
