I think One more, hear you on The Splendid Table as well, put some foil on that iron before you do the pancakes. :-)

4. cmeyerowitz - February 25, 2010

5. 5610winston - February 27, 2010

I’ll try that on my next trip!

6. ReikaiDemon - February 28, 2010

To be honest, this looks more like Les Stroud than Bear Grylls meets the Naked Chef meets Ray Mears. Plus, Bear Grylls is a damn phony anyways.

7. basiliosz - March 3, 2010

The counter he washed and wiped first thing in the video?

8. StrawberryCoke - March 5, 2010

I think I’ve warmed up cookies with my laptop fan before.

9. ZoolanderDZ - March 5, 2010

This video is genius! Just happen to stumble across it, think I’m going to check out some of your other videos and subscribe! Thanks for the cool video! You need a TV show or something! Keep it up!

Brilliant, Mr. Egg. Absolutely brilliant! As for why not eat out, well many is the time we have pulled into a motel too late for the restaurant or even fast food. This gives us an option!

11. WatchBear - March 9, 2010

I pronounce you honorary Swabian! :-)
You know how to save money.

12. clanrat - March 11, 2010

I loved the video but the music levels start and end are way to hot compared to the rest of the material

13. Warburt0n - March 14, 2010

I think Brilliant!!!!!

14. TSDT - March 17, 2010

MacGuyver meets Wolfgang Puck. I like it!

15. fireguyspro - March 18, 2010

What is the name of the piece of music????

16. paperpetals - March 19, 2010

I think Nice job! My old flat-mates used to cook Super-noodles and boil eggs in the hall’s kettles but that was just a sort of bizarre laziness; this is much more inventive and impressive.

17. kaiban42 - March 21, 2010

Fanfare Ciocarlia.
It’s a gypsy brass band from Romania that plays their own style of music. like eastern european jazz.

18. kaiban42 - March 22, 2010

nice.
kudos on the choice of music. Fanfare Ciocarlia. Not many people know about them.

19. Pjeroff - March 25, 2010

20. mob451 - March 25, 2010

I think I just vomitted in my mouth thinking about eating something off a motel bathroom counter….

21. colossusbeam - March 28, 2010

haha that was made of win

22. NicleT - March 30, 2010

I think Great video. Isn’t the music of Boban Markovic Orkestar in the opening and closing?

23. arlocrescent - April 1, 2010

I think I refer to this kind of d-i-y hotel living as ‘urban camping.’ His ingredients had to cost more than 2 pounds, still, Mr. Egg wins my prize.

24. matthewcashmore - April 4, 2010

total genius :-)
