What is a nice hotel in Boston for the history buff? September 18, 2009
Posted by Hotel in : Boston , 3commentsMy husband and I are planning a trip to Boston, but the hotel choices are getting overwhelming. We’d like a nice hotel; price isn’t that important, but we’re not looking for $500 a night either. The main reason we’ve chosen Boston for a vacation is we would love to explore the history of the city. Is there a good hotel sort of central to some of the more famous spots? A hotel like this with some juicy history of it’s own would be a plus! We’d be thrilled with some advice from seasoned Boston tourists or residents!

Is it practicable to live in a hotel in Newark for 5 days sightseeing in NYC? September 18, 2009
Posted by Hotel in : New York City , 5commentsSoon I want to go to NYC with my parents, and we are looking for a hotel. As hotels (and parking) are so expensive in the city, someone told me we should find a hotel in Newark instead. Is that practicable if you are planning to do sightseeing every day? How long does the train ride into NYC take and do the trains go all day (so that we are flexible with the times)? Can anyone recommend a good, not too expensive hotel?
